Singhik is a small village close to Mangan town. You can get the most glorious views of Kanchenjunga from here. Situated at an altitude of over 5000ft, Singhik offers the desired break to travellers on the way to Lachen or Lachung. For those having time, a half an hour's walk uphill takes you to an ancient monastery suspended in time.
There is a small tourist lodge at Singhik where tourists can stay overnight. A walk uphill will take you to a viewpoint, one of the best places to see Mt. Kanchenjunga and Siniolchu.
A winding road from Singhik goes straight below and meets the Tista River about 2 km above the confluence of Rongyung Chu and Tista. Here you may cross the river Tista and visit the interiors of Sikkim such as Leek, Timbong, and Kussong. However, these destinations are mostly out-of-bound for leisure tourists.
